Vito Grippi writes and lives in South Central Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters. His work has appeared in The York Review, Nightlife Monthly, Unsung Hero and Fly Magazine, among others. He's been a finalist in the Bob Hoffman Writing Contest, and has spoken at the Mid-Atlantic Writing Centers Conference.

Editorial duties have included a features editor position in the editorial department of Fly Magazine in Lancaster Pa, copy and content editing for nationally published guitar and bass guitar instruction method books, and a multitute of freelance work consisting of creation and/or editing of formal business documentation, employee manuals, restaurant menus, and website design and maintenance. He is also co-founder and editor of the online literary journal, shaking like a mountain.

Vito currently teaches first-year compostition at York College of Pennsylvania. He has also tutored students in writing on a one-on-one basis.

When not writing, editing, or teaching writing, Vito plays lead and rhythm guitar for the Kenton Shelley Band.
